1. Overview & Offline-First Core

Milk Tracker ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Gulposh Labs, is built primarily as an **offline-first Android application**. Your personal privacy is our highest priority. All daily records, milk quantities, customer/seller ledgers, rate calculations, and payment records are stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database (Android Room DB v12 with compound speed indexing) and DataStore Preferences. If optional Cloud Synchronization and Cloud Backup features are disabled, your transaction data remains strictly on your local device.

2. Information We Process & Collect

When you use Milk Tracker v2.6.1, the application processes the following categories of information:

User Profiles & Ledgers: Profile names, contact numbers (optional), fixed/dynamic per-litre rate structures, FAT/SNF formulas, and default Sold (Blue) / Bought (Orange) designations.
Milk Transactions: Quantities (litres), session timestamps (morning/evening), FAT/SNF percentage logs, total amounts, and transaction status (sold vs. bought).
Financial & Payment History: Settlement checklists, cash/online payment entries, partial payments, remarks, and monthly bill summaries.
Vacation & Extra Products Ledger: Scheduled vacation dates (auto-skip days) and additional items (ghee, butter, paneer, curd, etc.).
Device & System Data: Device model, OS version, app version, language preference, and unique installation IDs used for debugging, Firebase Remote Config sync, and Google Play Billing entitlements.

3. In-App Purchases & Billing Information

Milk Tracker integrates the official **Google Play Billing API** to offer premium feature tier subscriptions (Normal Premium and Trader Tier) as well as virtual rewarded options.

Financial Transactions: All financial payments, credit card details, UPI transactions, and billing operations are handled exclusively by **Google Play Commerce**. Milk Tracker and Gulposh Labs **never store, collect, or process your credit card, debit card, bank account, or payment details**.
Purchase Tokens & Subscription Status: The app receives cryptographic purchase tokens, purchase IDs, product identifiers, and expiry timestamps directly from Google Play Services to unlock subscription features and restore past purchases.

4. Cloud Synchronization & Google Drive Backups

We provide optional cloud services for multi-device sync and backup restoration:

Standard Cloud Sync (Shared Sandbox / Firebase Firestore)When Cloud Sync is enabled, profile ledgers and transactions are synchronized with Google Cloud Firestore using a randomly generated 16-character Sync ID or household link (`milktracker.gulposhlabs.in/sync?id=...`). No user account login or email is required.

Private Database Mode (Custom Firebase Project)Users can configure custom Firebase project credentials (Project ID, API Key, App ID) in Advanced Sync. Data routes strictly to the user's private Firebase console, completely isolating all records.

Google Drive Cloud Backup & RestoreWhen backing up or restoring via Google Drive API (REST API), backup files are saved directly into your personal Google Drive account. We do not access, view, or retain your Google Drive files or credentials on any intermediate server.

5. Advertising, Web Cookies & Third-Party Services

Milk Tracker ("we") uses Google advertising networks including Google AdSense (for web services) and Google AdMob (for the Android application) to display banner, native, interstitial, and responsive advertisements.

Third-party advertising & privacy policies:

Advertising Identifiers: Google AdMob and AdSense process advertising IDs, cookies, IP addresses, and non-sensitive diagnostic details. Premium mobile app subscribers enjoy a 100% ad-free experience.
System Permissions: The mobile application requests exact alarm permissions (`SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM`), notification permissions (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`), and camera/scanner permissions for QR codes. These operate locally on your device.

6. Data Control, Retention & Automated Server Lifecycle

You maintain control over your data, while automated server-side lifecycle systems ensure cloud performance and storage optimization:

Rolling 1-Year Data Retention Window (365 Days): To keep calculations and sync lightning-fast, transaction entries older than 1 year (365 days from the transaction date) are automatically purged from active cloud servers. Users wishing to retain permanent multi-year records can export JSON backups or run Google Drive backups at any time.
3-Month Inactivity Cloud Purge Policy (90 Days): If no new transactions or entries are recorded for 3 consecutive months (90 days), the associated cloud synchronization profile and household ledger documents are deemed abandoned and are automatically deleted by server-side cleanup systems. (Local records on your physical device remain intact unless wiped manually).
Manual Local Device Wipe: You can reset all app data directly from **Settings > Reset App Data** or by uninstalling the application.
Manual Cloud Data Deletion: You can purge cloud-synced documents inside the app's Cloud Sync settings or email us with your 16-character Sync ID for manual deletion.
JSON Data Export: All ledger entries, payments, and extra items can be exported into standard JSON files at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Milk Tracker does not target or knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately for complete data deletion.
