1. Data Storage & Architecture Overview

Milk Tracker by Gulposh Labs stores your active customer ledgers, daily deliveries, rates, and invoices locally on your physical Android device in an encrypted Room SQLite database. If you activate Cloud Household Sync, your transaction records are also synchronized in real time with our secure online database cluster (Google Cloud Firebase Firestore). You maintain full control over deleting both your on-device records and your online cloud data.

2. How to Delete Local On-Device Data

Because your primary records reside exclusively on your physical phone, you have immediate, instant control over their deletion:

From within the App: Go to Settings → Storage & Backup → Reset All Data to permanently erase local records.
Via Android OS: Open your phone's Settings → Apps → Milk Tracker → Storage & Cache → Clear Storage / Clear Data.
Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling the application automatically deletes the private SQLite database and sandboxed preferences from your device.

3. Cloud Sync Data Deletion & Retention Rules

If you used the optional Firebase Cloud Household Sync feature to share records between family members or buyers, cloud data is managed as follows:

• In-App Cloud Disconnect: Disabling sync in the app immediately detaches your device and terminates cloud sharing.

• Automated 90-Day Inactivity Purge: Cloud rooms with no new activity for 90 consecutive days are automatically purged from Firebase Firestore.

• Rolling 12-Month Cleanup: To optimize latency, cloud sync transactions older than 12 months are automatically pruned at month end.

4. Request Manual Cloud Data Deletion

If you have uninstalled the app and wish to immediately delete your Cloud Sync room or associated metadata without waiting for the automated 90-day purge, you can submit a deletion request below:
